Nominations are accepted from RSA members only and can be for a single person or a group of people. This award is designed to recognize outstanding journalistic efforts (“journalism” in the broadest sense) of writers who cover empirical research on alcohol. The contribution can be in a wide variety of formats, including print, film, video, and web publishing. Recipients of this award receive a plaque. They also receive a travel stipend if they attend the annual meeting.
